Our Story
Legal problems are usually stressful and confusing. Too many people avoid seeking advice because they are unsure of costs or do not know how to find the right lawyer. Law Tram was created to change that.
Founded by Inna Hall, Director and Lawyer, Law Tram combines professional experience with technology to make it easier for clients to connect with lawyers who can help. The platform simplifies the first step, reducing time and cost while giving clients confidence that their matter is being handled properly.
In collaboration with a team of highly experienced Australian lawyers and legal tech experts, Law Tram has created a unique service that connects people with the legal help they need, quickly and for free.
Law Tram is one of the first platforms in the world to use artificial intelligence to securely and confidentially connect people with lawyers and is the first to do so in Australia. We do this in a way that is both low risk for lawyers and free and safe for members of the public.
Law Tram’s software development team has brought decades of IT experience to the table to create a platform designed to make access to legal help more practical and affordable for the public.
Our detailed legal consultations are online questionnaires that were designed by Australian legal practitioners in a variety of practice areas. The questionnaires alone provide a significant amount of useful information such that a lawyer would have a good understanding of a person’s legal challenge at a glance. The real innovation is Law Tram’s AI Paralegal, which takes the results of the online consultation and offers users the option of chatting for as long as they like with artificial intelligence about their legal matter, to get even more information for the benefit of lawyers and it does this without ever knowing the client’s identity.
When this comprehensive legal summary is submitted by the user, the Law Tram system makes it available to law firms or registered migration agents all over Australia by email (again, without revealing the identity of the user). Lawyers can then chat with the user, for free, and if the user wishes they can retain the lawyer’s services — paying Law Tram a fully transparent commission only if they are paid by the client.
The software development process began in early 2023, shortly after the release of ChatGPT. Since then, we have adapted to numerous upgrades in ChatGPT and constantly increased usability and security, to bring you the Law Tram Australian solicitors, Registered Migration Agents and the public trust.
