Finding a compatible Australian solicitor can be challenging, but Law Tram is here to simplify the process for you.
Below are some frequently asked questions to guide you through using our platform:
1. What is a “Legal Consultation”?
A “Legal Consultation” is an online questionnaire you complete on the Law Tram platform. It gathers essential details about your legal concern, which can then be used to generate an “Anonymised Legal Brief” for our Legal Partners to review.
2. What are my options after completing the “Legal Consultation”?
After filling out the questionnaire, you have two options:
a) Direct Brief Generation:
Law Tram can immediately generate an “Anonymised Legal Brief” based on your answers. This Legal Brief can be viewed by our Legal Partners.
b) Chat with Virtual Paralegal:
You can choose to further discuss your legal matter with our Virtual Paralegal, which uses secure AI technology to delve into your legal matter, without knowing who you are. This chat helps in creating a more comprehensive Legal Brief. At the end of the chat, a Legal Brief will be generated, similar to option a).
3. Is there a cost associated with the “Legal Consultation” or chatting with the Virtual Paralegal?
No, both the “Legal Consultation” and the chat with the Virtual Paralegal are completely free for Clients.
4. How does the “Anonymised Legal Brief” work?
Once your Legal Brief is generated, either directly or after chatting with the Virtual Paralegal, it’s made available for our Legal Partners to review. If a Legal Partner believes they can assist with your matter, they can contact you through the platform. Your personal contact details remain confidential until you decide to share them with a chosen Legal Partner.
5. Is it mandatory to chat with the Virtual Paralegal?
No, chatting with the Virtual Paralegal is strictly voluntary. It’s an additional service we offer to help create a more detailed Legal Brief. However, if you’re comfortable with the initial “Legal Consultation” questionnaire, you can proceed directly to generating the “Anonymised Legal Brief”.
6. Is my information safe with the Virtual Paralegal?
Absolutely. Your name and contact details are not shared with the Virtual Paralegal. Our platform ensures that your identity remains anonymous during the chat. The Virtual Paralegal’s primary function is to gather comprehensive details about your legal issue in a safe and secure environment.
7. Are my name, email address, or other personally identifying information shared with the Virtual Paralegal?
No, that information is segregated in a secure section of the Law Tram database and is not shared. The Virtual Paralegal has no idea who it is talking to. The generated Legal Brief is anonymous, and the only way Legal Partners can know whose Legal Brief it is if the Client chooses to release the Legal Brief to a particular Legal Partner.
8. What happens after my “Anonymised Legal Brief” is generated?
Legal Partners on Law Tram can review your Legal Brief. If a Legal Partner is interested in assisting you, they’ll contact you through the platform. You can then review their profile, chat with them, and if you feel comfortable, release your contact details to them.
9. How do I release my contact details to a chosen Legal Partner?
Within the platform, there will be an option to “Share Contact Details” with a specific Legal Partner. By selecting this, your personal contact information will be shared only with that particular Legal Partner.
10. Can multiple Legal Partners contact me?
Yes, multiple Legal Partners might express interest in your case. You have the freedom to choose the one you feel is the best fit for your needs.
